made during 1 week for an "isolation" themed horror game jam! first time ever making a horror game, who-hoo! (sorry about the ladder climbing mechanic. i know. trust me, i know.)
i tried to get a webGL build going, but i think the game's a bit too big for that :') only download, sorry! hope you still give it a go. <3
also, i unfortunately wasn't able to test the mac build, so please let me know if you encounter any issues!
hope you enjoy uwu

Sometimes I think games can be poems of sorts, and this is one of those I consider that. I'm not sure if that makes sense, but it's a good thing!
What are the controls?
hey hey! controls are WASD for moving, mouse to look around and left click to interact! :)
to climb the ladder just walk forward, i know it looks very wrong and glitchy but... yeah :^)
Thanks!
I liked the visuals and how the story became darker and scarier as it went on, would love to see more of this world and the horrors it has and how it happened. Loved the atmosphere and ambiance and you did a good job on it!
hey, thank you so much for your kind words! just wanna say i absolutely loved your playthrough/commentary <3
I made a video on your game (19:05)
I really enjoyed this uncomfortable horror experience! I'd love to have a way to hear your take on Close to You again without playing the game-is it on Youtube or something?
hey, thank you so much! :)
and, no, at the moment it's only available here in the game - but a bunch of people have asked already, so i might just put it on bandcamp or something ^^°
Did you ever do it? it's a good song
ooh no still haven't done that... :') but, thank u! :') <3
Short and sweet, eerie and atmospheric, loved the addition of the song!
superb
<333
Trapped while the end of the world happens outside while waiting to live just a little longer until the end catches up with us. A small but interesting game where it seems that an event of proportions only describable as biblical is taking place outside.
I can imagine what the protagonist of the game would think, curiously after seeing what was happening outside, he did not come to wonder the cause of what was happening, he only thought about what was around him and that going out would only be finding certain death. Doing little things to keep the outside world in his place was something that kept him sane, just hoping to live a little longer before the end overtook him. Little by little, reality itself would begin to lose meaning, as if not even gravity, a force that seemed constant, was being twisted.
But eventually the end comes, the door opens and even though there is no escape the instinct is to run even from one more moment of meaningless existence.
Amazing vibes. Thanks for making this
Absolutely adored your rendition of that Carpenters song. I don't think I'll ever be able to hear their version in my head ever again after this. >w<
Awesome game too! The last bit had me go "Nope!" lol
Great game, loved it!!
I really enjoyed this game. No big jump scares but pretty creepy . I never thought of horror when I heard this song but def will now
Very nice creepy little game. I liked it.
I think that young man at the end there is gonna carry my off to somewhere nice! Maybe Pennsylvania...or Detroit.
Very interesting and creepy game. Great job!
fearful antagonizing pain the mind settles on isolation and separation. withdrawn from society as the world ending, no hope left. town lost, nobody left, all the flock have gone. somber haunting song attracts visitor uninvited.

At first I was at a loss as to how to get angrier, until I saw eyes being picked out of sockets. Yikes :o]
This game took me places I didn't expect. The way you sang Burt Bacharach's 'Close To You' makes Karen Carpenter spin in her shallow grave, because of its creepiness.
Overall, a very enjoyable game and well done. Hope this inspires you to do more. This gets you a 5 star rating and I'm following you.
Very interesting game.
I really enjoyed it! The concept was pretty interesting and I liked the changes every day, and that music was great, some people including me are interested to know if we can find this version of the song somewhere to listen? Aside that great job with the game :)
hey hey, thank you! ^^
currently you can only hear that song in the game - that's me singing, and i just recorded that for the game :D but if people are interested, i could put it on soundcloud or something
That's really cool, you should definitely put it somewhere for others to be able to listen, it's actually pretty neat.
up! your version is haunting
hah thanks, really enjoyed your commentary :D 7/10, appreciate it!
SPOOKY
The game just feels completely creepy especially on the last day, having the music playing as you watch them slowly descend.
It’s a really imaginative idea for a game, the story to visuals has been one of the more unique short stories I’ve played.
thank you! really appreciate the detailed feedback! :D
The sketchy monster design is really neat, and that music is haunting. Well done.
thank you, really loved your submission to the jam as well!!
love the game thank you
subscribe to my channel thank you all :)haha and i loved your commentary, thanks for playing! :D
